Limited and Non-Compete Policy

This policy is adopted primarily on a voluntary basis because it is the right thing to do.  Our Policy is based on ethical considerations and common-sense:  "Don't Bite the Hand that Feeds You".  The goal is to not compete with clients, customers and employers.

For the above stated reasons the following services will not be provided:

• Network or Web-site monitoring
• Network services for mid-sized or larger businesses, agencies or organizations.   At this time providing of Network Services is not a significant part of the services offered by Timberland Technologies.  If at any time these services are offered they would be limited to home, home office, SOHO and small business (10 computers or less).
• Providing of Internet Connectivity Services.  Internet Services Provider and other types of Internet Connectivity (including Fiber, ETTS, WAN-Wireless, DSL, Cable, Dial-up).   I do encourage  clients, businesses and anyone with needs for reliable internet connectivity to consider back-up or redundant means of connectivity and can work with local providers to secure this capability.  I find that some local companies can very effectively address these needs.
• Other services that directly compete with the primary services offered by any clients, customers or employers
